Well, my mother (whom I do not get along with) has been in the hospital for a week now. She has Rectal Cancer and Cirrhosis of the Liver (wait, she's not a drinker - at all!).

She had surgery on Tuesday for the cancer and that was completely taken care of -  at least for the moment. She only had a small area that had the cancer in it and it was all removed. However, she bleed like crazy and the surgeon said that she should not have a major operation. Shucks.

Her liver is probably what will do her in. Its barely functioning, but the dr's are like "wait and see".

Most people are probably close to their mothers. Mine is a complete whack job. I had cut off contact about 2 years ago, but because I am the only realive in FL, and (really) because my Dad asked me to, I'm visiting her in the hospital and cleaning out her apt.

Her Apt, by the gods, it's disgusting. That would turn this post into a mini book!

Anyways, its been quite chaotic lately! Wish I was on here more!!
