Ok, so here's whats been going on:

I quit my job in early September, however they asked me to stay until until some training was done, which meant my last day was October 27th.

I'm taking off a couple of months and then will see about getting a new job in January, since its sorta hard to find a good job during the holidays.

I am seriously considering looking for a job in North Carolina, however my hubbie is not to thrilled with the idea. He likes S. Florida, but there is just no way we can afford to ever buy a house here. Not to mention, in the 6 years we've lived at this apartment, nothing will ever grow here! no plants, herbs or anything. They always die. Damned processing plant across the canal kills them

:(

My Brat is happy that I'm home more. He's 6 years old and even though we're spending more time on his homework (which btw, is absolutely wrong in so many ways!) but its nice to pick him up early and spend several hours of time a day with him now. Especially compared to the 1 or 2 hours only from when I was working.

Hmmm, still reading a lot. Just read Natural OrderMage from L. E. Modesitt, which was pretty good. And now have started on The High Kings Tomb by Kristen Britain, and so far is also pretty good.

I plan on starting to actually work out now (after my cold is over, which I got from my allergies - so much for dusting!!LOL) and see if I can start to lose some weight.

I had cut my hair super short, and am now growing it out again. That's what I get for having Pluto in my first house!

Anyways, time for a shower and to head out of the house for the day. Hopefully with me being home, will be able to post and write more!

I'm so sorry its been such a long time since my last post!

 My mother (aka Psycho) was in the hospital again (critical care - again) and my brother just recently flew her back to California. Thank the gods!!

Work is still crazy, I'm dealing with month end/quarter end/fiscal year end - commissions and bonuses. So suffice it to say that dealing with over 125 sales reps is no fun! BLAH!!

Other than that, life hasn't been too bad :) Still reading a lot, working my book a little bit at a time.

Well, my mother (whom I do not get along with) has been in the hospital for a week now. She has Rectal Cancer and Cirrhosis of the Liver (wait, she's not a drinker - at all!).

She had surgery on Tuesday for the cancer and that was completely taken care of -  at least for the moment. She only had a small area that had the cancer in it and it was all removed. However, she bleed like crazy and the surgeon said that she should not have a major operation. Shucks.

Her liver is probably what will do her in. Its barely functioning, but the dr's are like "wait and see".

Most people are probably close to their mothers. Mine is a complete whack job. I had cut off contact about 2 years ago, but because I am the only realive in FL, and (really) because my Dad asked me to, I'm visiting her in the hospital and cleaning out her apt.

Her Apt, by the gods, it's disgusting. That would turn this post into a mini book!

Anyways, its been quite chaotic lately! Wish I was on here more!!

Ok, so this weekend I really needed to get my hair trimmed. Its short, but had been growing out and driving me crazy!

So not only did I get it much shorter, but got it dyed as well. I have not dyed my hair in about 10 years! So the main part is now this pretty red/brown color, kind of like Cayanne Pepper. The bangs a blue black with the ends being red :)

Very Anime type of style.

But I love it! I will need to get a pic of it taken and uploaded :)
